Are you seeking a more intimate relationship with Christ? Then join We Are Our Sisters’ Keeper (WAOSK) throughout 2024 for this series of engaging conversations about relevant topics that will help you go deeper in your relationship with Christ and build circles of sisterhood. These dynamic sessions will provide an opportunity for stimulating spiritual discussions with our Leading Lady, guest presenters, and other sisters in Christ.  Session topics will include prayer, self-care, relationships, perseverance, purpose, and more! The first sessions will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27th in the Grove Church Family Life Center.  A delightful coffee bar and tea station will be available.  There is no fee to attend.

Join us on Thursday, May 2, at 11:30 AM at Portsmouth City Park as we celebrate the 2024 National Day of Prayer. It will be the 73rd year of the National Day of Prayer, and this year’s theme is “Lift up the Word, Light up the World.” Our senior pastor and our music ministry will be participating to help lead this moment of sacrifice and prayer. So join us at the Portsmouth City Part Amphitheater on May 2nd as we collectively make our petitions known to God.  

Grove Church is working in partnership with Yvonne Allmond, Executive Vice President and Community Financial Engagement Officer for TowneBank, to offer free Financial Literacy workshops on May 9th and 16th at 6:30 pm in the Family Life Center. This workshop will be held on Thursday, May 9th, for individuals and families.  The primary goal of this program is to increase awareness and to provide an understanding of how to manage finances responsibly.  Participants will learn about budgeting, financial planning, establishing and using credit, and taking steps toward financial stability.
